Adopt a Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair Cat

Marley the Cat needs a home

Soft, gentle lap cat seeking long term relationship with cuddly human. My name is Marley and I am tired of an endless series of casual meetings with strangers. I am ready to settle down in a stable, forever home and devote myself to one or two good people.

I am five years old and have been through some upheavals, lately. Born in an outdoor feral cat colony in Ditmas Park and rescued as a kitten, I was recently left by my owner of five years. I was somewhat traumatized when I landed at Brooklyn Cat Cafe, but after some time hanging out UNDER the couches I discovered it was cooler to hang out ON the couches and meet people. It turned out to be even cooler to sit in their laps (including Santa's!) Boy, do I like to snuggle up to somebody and get some lovin! I am starting to get a bit of a paunch and if you make a point of it, I might even get into some cat toys for a little exercise now and then.

Unfortunately, I was not thrilled with all those annoying other cats at the Cat Cafe, so I went to a foster, who then had to travel. I am trying things out with another nice lady, but she won't commit. So if you're ready for a sweet, devoted, faithful companion, give me a call! Or email that is...
